Bittercube Blackstrap Bitters

Based out of Milwaukee, Bittercube has been hand-crafting their bitters since 2010. These Blackstrap bitters is a blend of cinnamon, molasses, clove, sassafras and sarsaparilla. This bitters makes a great addition to winter cocktails like a Brandy Toddy:

  • 2 oz Apple Brandy
  • 0.5 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz Demerara Syrup
  • 0.25 oz Honey
  • 13 drops Bittercube Blackstrap Bitters
  • 4 oz Hot Water
Warm a mug with a hot water rinse. In a Boston shaker, combine Brandy, lemon juice, syrup, honey and bitters. Shake with minimal ice and strain into a mug. Top with hot water, garnish with a cinnamon stick.
