Who's the Bosc?
This cocktail has a delicate pear flavour with just a hint of spice and can be enjoyed in any season.
- 2 oz amber rum
- 1 oz dry vermouth
- 1/4 oz maple syrup
- 4-5 slices Bosc pears
- 2 dashes Bob's ginger bitters
In a cobbler shaker, muddle the pear slices. Add ginger bitters, maple syrup, rum and dry vermouth. Add ice and shake well to combine. Using a fine mesh strainer and the cobbler strainer, double strain into your favourite cocktail glass. Add a pear slice as garnish or leave garnish-free. The choice is up to you my friend!
